Civil Bank Proposes 5.26 Percent Dividend From Fiscal Year 2078/79

Civil Bank Limited (CBL) has announced a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The bank has proposed a 5.26 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 5 percent bonus share and 0.26 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Civil Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 9.07 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 45.37 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 2.38 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Civil Bank had distributed a 5.26 percent cash dividend to the shareholders, including a 5 percent bonus share and a 0.26 percent cash dividend.
After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital of the bank will rise to Rs 9.52 Arba.
