Life Insurance Corporation Nepal (LICN) is one of the leading life insurance company of Nepal. It obtained life insurance license from Insurance Board of Nepal (Beema Samiti) on July 08, 2001. Likewise, it started insurance operations from January 9, 2001. L.I.C. of India holds 55 percent ownership of the Company while Vishal Group has 25 percent share and the general public possess 20 percent share.
