Donald Trump thanks Chinese president for containing coronavirus

US President Donald Trump has thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for the country’s effective handling of coronavirus. The second case of the flu-like virus in the US has been confirmed by health officials. Posting his remarks through Twitter, he wrote that China has been working very hard to contain the coronavirus. Mr. Xi Jinping has ordered a centralized response to the coronavirus by making it clear that it is the state’s responsibility to prevent and control it.
He further said that “The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!” China has been working very effectively and quickly to contain the coronavirus which has already claimed the lives of 56 people and the reports suggest that more than 2,000 have been found infected by the virus. Hong Kong has also declared the virus emergency for coronavirus.
The stock market index has declined on Friday after the fear that the virus outbreak could dampen global growth.
