Fee Applicable To Get ID And Password For Online Trading From Shrawan

The investor will have to pay a fee to get the user ID and password required for online share trading from Shrawan 2077/78. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday made public a nine-point information stating that it will charge the prescribed fee from the next fiscal year even though there is no charge for taking user ID and password at present.

Nepse has issued a notice to charge a fee for the user ID and password used in online trading starting the month of Shrawan. The stock market which has been closed since last Chaitra 10, due to the impact of the corona virus epidemic, will come into operation from Tuesday.

Nepse has stated that the provision of taking margin from investors while taking online trading will be strictly enforced. A help desk will be set up to resolve the grievances of the investors. Share trading will be done for 2 hours a day (from 11 am to 1 pm). Likewise, trading will be stopped for the day when the Nepse index fluctuates more than 2 percent.

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has already given permission to open the share market from Baisakh 26. Accordingly, Nepse has made public nine new rules to start share trading from Tuesday. Nepse has instructed all member brokers and investors to work according to the new rules.

Also, Nepse has instructed the investors to open Mero share account and clear the settlement through EDIS. Nepse has also urged investors to update their demat accounts.
