Hydroelectricity Investment & Development Company (HIDCL) Declares 3.5 Percent Dividend

Hydroelectricity Investment & Development Company Limited (HIDCL) has declared a dividend to its shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2081/82.

The board meeting of the company held on Mangsir 26, 2082 BS has proposed a 3.5 percent dividend to the shareholders. The total dividend includes a 1.5 percent bonus share and a 2 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes).

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Government and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, the company had provided a 5.25 percent cash dividend. Likewise, from the fiscal year 2079/80,  HIDCL had distributed a 5.263 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.

Similarly, from the fiscal year 2078/79, the company had provided a 5.263 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share. Likewise, from the FY 2077/78, HIDCL had distributed an 8.421 percent dividend, including an 8 percent bonus share.
