Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Proposes 14.73 Percent Dividend

Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JBLB) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2080/81.

The microfinance has proposed a 14.7368 percent dividend. The total dividend includes 14 percent bonus share and a 0.7368 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The bonus share is worth Rs 18.86 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 99.29 lakhs.

As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs. 134.75 crores. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 153.61 crores.

The dividend is subject to approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the microfinance.

From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, JBLB had distributed a 14.7369 percent dividend, including a 14 percent bonus shares. Likewise, from the fiscal year 2078/79, the microfinance company had provided a 15 percent dividend, including 14.285 percent bonus share and a 0.714 percent cash dividend. Similarly, from the FY 2077/78, Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta had distributed a 73.68 percent dividend, including a 70 percent bonus share and a 3.68 percent cash dividend.
