Himalayan Laghubitta to Skip Dividend from FY 2080/81

Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (HLBSL) has made an announcement about the dividend to the shareholders from the fiscal year 2080/81.

The microfinance company has decided to the skip the dividend distribution from accumulated profit of the last fiscal year.

As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Himalayan Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 31.98 crores.

From the previous fiscal year 2079/80 as well, the company didn’t provide any dividend to the shareholders.

However, from the fiscal year 2078/79, Himalayan Laghubitta (formerly, Civil Laghubitta) had provided 11.58 percent dividend, including an 11 percent bonus share. Likewise, from the fiscal year 2077/78, the microfinance had distributed a 20 percent dividend, including a 19 percent bonus share and a 1 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

Similarly, in the fiscal year 2076/77, Civil Laghubitta had provided a 3.68421 percent dividend, including a 3.5 percent bonus share and a 0.18421 percent cash dividend. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2075/76, the company had distributed a 10 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share and a 5 percent cash dividend.

After Himalayan Bank acquired Civil Bank, the subsidiary company Civil Laghubitta was renamed into Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.
