IME Life Insurance to Provide 10.52632 Percent Dividend

IME Life Insurance Company Limited (ILI) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2081/82
The life insurance company has proposed a 10.52632 percent dividend. The total dividend will be in the form of cash.
As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, IME Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 5 Arba. Hence, the company is planning to distribute dividend worth Rs. 52.63 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, ILI had provided a 21.05264 percent cash dividend to the shareholders. Similarly, from the fiscal year 2079/80, the company had distrubted a 26.3158 percent dividend, including a 25 percent bonus share and a 1.3158 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). However, from the fiscal year 2078/79, IME Life Insurance didn’t distribute any dividend to the shareholders.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming AGM of the insurance.
