Infinity Laghubitta Announces 20 Percent Dividend From FY 2078/79

Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ILBS) has proposed the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The microfinance company has announced a 20 percent dividend. The total dividend be in the form of bonus share. Since, the company acquired Nepal Agro Laghubitta in the fiscal year 2078/79, it has not proposed any cash dividend for tax purposes.
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Infinity Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 41.45 crores. On this capital, the bonus share amounts to Rs 8.29 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital of ILBS will rise to Rs 49.74 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, ILBS had distributed a 29.16 percent dividend, including a 27.70 percent bonus share and a 1.46 percent cash dividend.
Likewise, in the fiscal year 2076/77, the company has provided a 15 percent dividend that included 14.25 percent bonus shares and 0.75 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes) to its shareholders. Likewise, from the fiscal year 2075/76, ILBS had distributed a 15.79 percent dividend, including a 10 percent bonus share.
