Jyoti Bikas Bank and Khalti Wallet Sign Agreement For Digital Payment

Jyoti Bikas Bank and Khalti Digital Wallet have signed an agreement to provide digital payment services.
With this agreement, Jyoti Bikas Bank customers will now be able to easily load money into ‘Khalti’ using the bank’s mobile banking and internet banking services and make digital payments for all types of services available on the ‘Khalti’ platform.
The agreement was signed by Shrichandra Bhatt, Chief Executive Officer of Jyoti Bkas Bank and Sumit Agrawal, Director of the company on behalf of Khalti.
One can make payment for various services such as mobile recharge, electricity and water bill payment, internet and DTH bill payment, credit card bill payment, insurance premium payment, movie ticket, plane ticket, hotel room booking, payment of goods purchased through e-commerce and many other services through ‘Khalti’ wallet. With this collaboration with Khalti, the customers of Jyoti Bikas Bank will have more convenience.
At present, Jyoti Bikas Bank is providing services through 105 branch offices, one extension counter and 61 ATMs. So far, the bank has collected about Rs. 42 billion in deposits. It has succeeded to invest Rs. 34.60 billion to more than 20,000 borrowers.
