Kalika Power Company Declares 10.53 Percent Dividend

Kalika Power Company Limited (KPCL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The board meeting of the company held on Poush 6, 2080 BS has proposed a 10.5263 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 10 percent bonus share and a 0.5263 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The company is planning to distribute Rs 7.93 crores worth of bonus shares and Rs 41.76 lakh worth of cash dividends.

As of Ashad’s end 2080 B.S., Kalika Power Company has a paid-up capital of Rs. 79.35 crores. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 87.28 crores.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming  Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, KPCL had provided a 15.7895 percent dividend, including a 15 percent bonus share. Similarly, from the FY 2077/78, the hydropower company had distributed a 15.7895 percent dividend including a 15 percent bonus share and a 0.7895 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
