Karnali Government To Invest In Two Hydropower Projects In The State

The Karnali provincial government has decided to invest Rs. 17 crores in two hydropower projects in the state. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to invest in the shares of the two hydropower projects in Dolpa and Dailekh.

The state government will invest Rs 11.71 crores in Jagadulla Hydropower Project in Dolpa and Rs 5 crores in Upper Parajuli Hydroelectric Project in Dailekh. The capacity of Jagadulla Hydropower Project is 106 MW while that of Upper Parajuli Hydroelectric Project is 2.15 MW.
