Mahila Laghubitta Proposes 50 Percent Dividend From FY 2078/79

Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBSL) has proposed the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The microfinance company has proposed a 50 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 47.50 percent bonus share and a 2.50 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Mahila Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 14.75 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 7.62 crores. Likewise, the cash dividend amounts to Rs 36.87 lakhs.
After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs 21.75 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the company.
From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Mahila Laghubitta had distributed a 50 percent dividend to its shareholders, including a 47.50 percent bonus share and a 2.50 percent cash dividend.
