Mahila Laghubitta to Skip Dividend from FY 2080/81

Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBSL) has informed about the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend decision is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
The microfinance company has decided not to distribute any dividend to the shareholders and retain profits from the last fiscal year.
The company has sent the financial statements to Nepal Rastra Bank for approval after which it will convene the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Mahila Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 21.75 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80 as well, Mahila Laghubitta didn’t distribute any dividend to the shareholders. However, from the fiscal year 2078/79, the microfinance company had provided a 50 percent dividend, including a 47.50 percent bonus share and a 2.50 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). Likewise, from the fiscal year 2077/78, Mahila Laghubitta had distributed a 50 percent dividend as well, including a 47.50 percent bonus share and a 2.50 percent cash dividend.
