Mega Bank Launches Facility To Send Money Through Mobile

Mega Bank Nepal Limited has developed the ‘Mega Remit’ service in a state-of-the-art manner. The bank has launched a service to send remittances from mobile phones with the objective of providing smart remittance services.

The bank has stated that this service is called ‘Remittance In Hand’ as it is possible to remit money directly from the mobile without reaching the remittance centers. The money can be sent to any place in Nepal through the facility started under the slogan ‘Smart Remittance In Smart Times’.

Through this service, one can send the remit up to a maximum of Rs 1 lakh at a time, the bank said. Arrangement has been made to deposit the amount directly in the account if the recipient has an account in Mega Bank. However, if you do not have an account, you can get cash from any of the bank’s 10,000 agents and the bank’s 206 branch offices across the country.
