Mega Bank Provides Insurance Claim Of Rs 7 Lakh To The Family Of Deceased Army Personnel

Mega Bank Nepal Limited has provided Rs. 700,000 for insurance to the family of Nepal Army soldier Shivaraj Rana who died prematurely in a motorcycle accident.
Mega Bank has handed over Rs. 7 lakh to Rana, a late soldier who opened a ‘Mega Corporate Benefit Savings Account’ in Mega Bank. Rana, a Nepal Army soldier serving in the Birbhadra Jung Gulm in Tamghas, Gulmi, died in a motorcycle accident in Dhangadhi on Falgun 1, 2076 while on leave.
Tejendra Karki, Manager of Mega Bank Tamghas Branch, handed over the insurance money to Tikaram Rana, the father of Sainik Jawan Rana, through Major Bhupendra Gurung, Gulmapati of Birbhadra Jung Gulm.
Anupama Khunjeli, CEO of Mega Bank, said that the bank has provided accident insurance of Rs. 7 lakh on ‘Mega Corporate Benefit Saving Account’ that can be opened at a minimum balance of Rs 1,000. According to CEO Khunjeli, the bank has come up with this plan to provide security to the customers and their families in case of any such incident.
