Movie Industry: Frozen 2 crosses $1 billion mark

Frozen 2, the anticipated sequel to the 2013 animated movie ‘Frozen’ has crossed the $1 billion mark, as informed by the Disney Studio. Frozen 2 has now become the 6th Disney film to surpass the billion dollars in 2019. Along with Frozen 2, ‘Toy Story 4’, ‘Aladdin’, ‘Captain Marvel’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ have also grossed over billion dollars this year.
Disney also stated that the Frozen sequel is the 7th biggest animated release of all time. The 2013 ‘Frozen’ was a blockbuster earning 1.276 billion dollars. Frozen 2 is expected the break the records of its preceding movie.
