National Hydropower to Re-Convene 27th AGM on Poush 6

National Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC) is going to conduct its 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 6, 2080 BS [December 22, 2023]. The meeting will take place at Delish Opera Restro & Banquet, Baluwatar Kathmandu. The AGM will start after 11 AM.
Previously, the company had decided to convene the AGM on Mangsir 22, 2080 BS [December 8, 2023]. However, due to in-sufficient shareholders’ participation, the meeting was postponed.
The major agendas for the AGM include:
Discussion and approval of financial reports for the fiscal year 2079/80.
Appointment of auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81.
Book Closure Date:
For the purpose of AGM, National Hydropower Company closed its shareholders’ registration book on Mangsir 7, 2080 BS. Hence, the investors holding/purchasing the shares of NHPC until Mangsir 6 can participate in the annual meeting.
