Nepal Bank Earns Rs 2.26 Arba | EPS At Rs 23.87 (Q3 Report)

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has reported a rise in profit by 13 percent in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2077/78. The bank which earned Rs. 1.99 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year generated a profit of Rs. 2.26 Arba until the third quarter of this fiscal year.

The increase in profit is mainly due to the growth in the net interest income of the bank. The net interest income rose from Rs. 4.21 Arba in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year to Rs. 4.71 Arba this year.

As of Chaitra end 2077 BS,  Nepal Bank has a deposit collection (from customers) of Rs. 151.60 Arba. Likewise, the loans and advances (to customers) amount to Rs. 127.92 Arba.

As per the report, the annualized Earnings per Share (EPS) stands at Rs. 23.87 while the per-share networth is Rs 270.22.
