Pioneer MotoCorp, the official dealer of Nissan Motors for Nepal, has announced the launch of Nissan’s most awaited EV Nissan Leaf in Nepal. The launch of the electric vehicle could not take place on time as the existing tax on electric vehicles was increased.
Nissan’s ‘Leaf’ will be launched in April 2021 as the government has made arrangements to review the tax on electric vehicles. Nissan Leaf is the world’s first ‘mass marketed’ electric vehicle and has become a global leader in the market. Nissan Leaf is the most advanced electric car and has sold over 250,000 units worldwide.
The first Nissan Leaf was launched in December 2010 in Japan. The company claims that Nissan Leaf is known as the best-selling vehicle in the world with its advanced features and excellent look. Nissan Leaf, which comes with more horsepower and torque, has advanced technology and features. The vehicle, which can be charged up to 80 percent in 40 minutes, also includes state-of-the-art e-pedal technology.
