Sita Hydropower Company To Construct 35 MW Nyasim Hydro-Electric Project (HEP)

Sita Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd. will construct a 35 MW Nyasim Hydro-Electric Project (HEP). The company has received the construction license from Department of Electricity Development (DOED). The department provided the license for construction that is valid from Karthik 28, 2077 BS to Karthik 27, 2112 BS.

Nyasim HEP is a run-off-river type project, located in Sindhupalchok district of Bagmati Province of Nepal. The
project has an installed capacity of 35 MW. It covers ward no. 2 and 3 of Jugal Rural Municipality.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 5.89 Arba. The project will generate about 200.22 GWh annually. The energy generated will be evacuated through 132 KV transmission line of 8 km distance to the feeding point to national grid.
