Sale Of Maruti, United & Jagdamba Cement Suspended

Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology (NBSM) has banned the production and sale of three different cement industries saying that the product was not of quality during market monitoring.
The department has banned the sale of OPC cement Of Maruti and United Cement and PPC cement Of Jagdamba. While measuring the quality, the department found that the strength of these cements was not up to the specified quality.
The department has also instructed the industry to give explanation within 15 days and also to take back the products that went to the market.
