Samudayik Laghubitta Reports Fall In Profit By 80 Percent In Q1

Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) has reported a fall in net profit in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2077/78. The decline is profit is mainly due to the huge rise in non performing loan (NPL). The NPL of the microfinance skyrocketed to 16.08 percent from 1.84 percent of the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
