Sanima Capital to Issue Units of ‘Sanima Equity Fund II’ from Baisakh 24 [IPO]

Sanima Capital Limited has launched a new mutual fund scheme named “Sanima Equity Fund II”. The fund manager is going to sell the units of the mutual fund scheme in the public offering from Baisakh 24, 2083 BS.

The close-ended scheme “Sanima Equity Fund II” will operate under “Sanima Mutual Fund”. The fund manager is planning to issue 10 crores units at a par value of Rs. 10. Hence, the total issue amounts to Rs. 100 crores.

For this purpose, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) gave the approval to the company on Baisakh 3, 2083 BS. the fund manager has submitted the application to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Magh 4, 2081 BS seeking permission to sell the units to the public. Only after the permission from the regulatory body SEBON, the mutual fund scheme can be floated to the general public.

If fully subscribed, the scheme offering will close on Baisakh 29, 2083 BS.

Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and maximum of 1 crore units.

Out of the total public issue, 13 percent or 1.3 crore units of the fund will be purchased by Sanima Bank Limited, the promoter of the mutual fund. Likewise, 2 percent or 20 lakh units will be subscribed by Sanima Capital Limited, the fund manager. Hence, the general public can apply for the remaining 8.5 crore units.

After the allotment of the scheme, it will be listed and traded on the Nepal stock exchange.
