SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Proposes 20 Percent Dividend from FY 2080/81

SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (SJLIC) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
The board meeting of the insurance held on Mangsir 14, 2081 BS has decided to distribute a 20 percent dividend. The total dividend will be in the form of cash.
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, SuryaJyoti Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.01 Arba. At this capital, the cash dividend is worth Rs. 100.23 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, SuryaJytoi Life Insurance had distributed a 35 percent dividend, including a 10.26 percent bonus share and a 24.54 percent cash dividend.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming AGM of the insurance.
