Taragaon Regency Hotel Proposes 5 Percent Dividend

Taragaon Regency Hotel (TRH) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2081/82.

The meeting of board of directors of the company held on Mangsir 23, 2082 BS has proposed an 5 percent dividend to the shareholders (excluding tax). The total dividend will be in the form of cash.

As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, Taragaon Regency Hotel has a paid-up capital of Rs 196.21 crores. At this capital, the total dividend amounts to Rs 9.81 crores.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, TRH had distributed an 11 percent cash dividend to the shareholders. Similarly, from the fiscal year 2079/80, the company had provided a 15 percent dividend, including a 4 percent bonus share and an 11 percent cash dividend. Likewise, from the fiscal year 2078/79, TRH had distributed an 8.42 percent cash dividend.

However, in the fiscal year 2077/78, the company didn’t provide any dividend to the shareholders. From the fiscal year 2076/77, TRH had distributed a 10 percent cash dividend. Similarly, in the fiscal year 2075/76, the company had provided a 12.63 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.
