Tesla worth more than 5 top car companies as stock price soars 36% in 2 days

With the stock price skyrocketing, Tesla is now more valuable than the five top car companies combined. The market cap of Tesla has crossed $160 billion surpassing the combined market value of General Motors, Ford, Fiat Chrysler, Renault, and PSA Peugeot.

The share price of Tesla has soared by 36 percent in the last two trading days. Two days earlier, the share price stood at $650. On Tuesday closing the share was trading at $887.06.

The electric car company has more than tripled in value in the last five months. Since, the start of the year 2020, the price has more than doubled.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and major shareholder is now worth $39.3 billion as the stock of Tesla skyrockets.
