5 Top gainer and loser stocks of the week

Nepse index has declined by almost 11 points this week. Last week, the market closed on 1224.04 points whereas it has plunged to 1213.07 points this week. The market has declined continuously in recent weeks. And this week, the share price of companies like Chilime, Nepal Investment Bank, Siddhartha Insurance, etc. also fell by more than 5 percent after publishing a weak financial report. TOP 5 GAINERS
Microfinance company stocks have been on a top gainer list for the third consecutive week. Two microfinance companies Global IME Laghubitta and Samudayik top the gainer list with a price gain of 13.38 and 9.47 percent respectively. Global IME Laghubitta has announced 35 percent bonus shares to its shareholders this week. Besides, Bishal Bazar Company, Goodwill Finance, and Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank are among the top gainers for this week.

Gurans Laghubitta lost 8.75 percent to close at Rs. 480 this week. Gurans Laghubitta has announced 8.387 percent bonus shares to its shareholders. On the other hand, Prudential Insurance fell by 8 percent. Similarly, the share value of two hydropower companies, Chhyangdi and Ghalemdi declined by more than 7 percent.
