Universal Power Company Announces 9.4737 Percent Dividend

Universal Power Company Limited (UPCL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the accumulated profit until the fiscal year 2081/82.
The hydropower company has proposed a 9.4737 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 9 percent bonus share and a 0.4737 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, Universal Power Company Limited has a paid-up capital of Rs 227.99 crores. At this capital, the dividend amounts to Rs 21.59 crores.
The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming AGM.
Universal Power Company Limited is currently operating an 11 MW Tallo Khare Khola Hydropower Project in Dolakha district of Nepal.
