Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Amends Dividend From FY 2077/78 | Proposes 30 Percent Dividend

Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) has amended the dividend to the shareholders from the fiscal year 2077/78.

The board meeting of the microfinance company held on Mangsir 4, 2078 BS has declared a 30 percent dividend. The total dividend will be in the form of bonus shares.

Previously, the company had proposed 32 percent bonus shares. However, as per the directive from Nepal Rastra Bank, the company has revised the dividend to the shareholders.

As of Ashad’s end  2078 BS, Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 17.61 crores. At this capital, the bonus share amounts to Rs 5.28 crores.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the company.

From the previous fiscal year 2076/77, the company had provided a 17.81 percent bonus share to the shareholders. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2075/76, Unnati Microfinance (before the merger with Sahakarya Laghubitta) had distributed a 40.63 percent dividend, including a 38.60 percent bonus share.
