ADB To Provide Rs 19.58 Billion In Concesssional Loan For Purchase Of COVID Vaccine

The government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a concessional loan agreement of Rs 19.58 billion for the purchase of vaccine against COVID-19. On Wednesday, Finance Secretary Madhu Kumar Marasini and ADB Country Director Ano Kuswa signed the agreement at the Ministry of Finance.

15.9 million vaccines will be purchased from this concessional loan assistance. The government expects 6.8 million people to benefit from this.
