Advance booking of bus tickets for Dashain will be open from Ashwin 1.
An agreement was reached on Wednesday between the Department of Transport Management, Traffic Police, Road Department, Consumer Forum and the Federation of Nepali National Transport Entrepreneurs.
Advance ticket booking has been opened targeting passengers leaving Kathmandu. Lakhs of people leave Kathmandu every day after Ghatasthapana to celebrate Dasain.
Ticket booking will be arranged through online. Passengers who book tickets online will get discounts or concessions. Online is the best way to completely discourage the act of selling tickets from unauthorized counters and people.
