Api Power Company To Issue Right Share From Karthik 14

Api Power Company Limited (API) is going to issue the right shares from Karthik 14, 2077. The company will issue new shares in the ratio of 1:0.47. This indicates that for every 100 shares, one can apply for 47 right shares. The shareholders can apply for the right until Mangsir 4, 2077.
Siddhartha Capital Limited is the sales manager of the right issue of Api Power. One can submit the applications for the right share to the designated branch offices of Siddhartha Capital, Api Power Company, Siddhartha Bank, and Global IME Bank. In addition, applications can be placed from the banks and financial institutions that have received ASBA permission from the Securities Board Of Nepal (SEBON) or through Asba in Mero share software.

Api Power Company will issue 56.70 lakh shares at the face value of Rs 100 which amounts to Rs 56.70 crores.
The company had closed the shareholders’ registration book for the right issue on Chaitra 1, 2076. Accordingly, only the shareholders holding/purchasing shares until Falgun 30 are eligible to purchase the right share.
Credit rating agency ICRA Nepal has given ICRA NP IPO grade 4 rating to the company’s right issue. A grade 4 rating indicates that the company’s financial fundamentals are weaker than average.
