Bank of Kathmandu (BOKL) Proposes 20.95 Percent Dividend

Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKL) has declared the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The board meeting of the bank held on Ashwin 30, 2079 BS has announced a 20.95 percent dividend to shareholders, as informed on NEPSE. The total dividend includes a 14.95 percent cash dividend and 6 percent bonus shares.
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Bank of Kathmandu has a paid-up capital of Rs 10.63 Arba. On this capital, the cash dividend amounts to Rs 1.58 Arba. Likewise, the bonus share is worth Rs 63.74 crores. Hence, the bank is planning to distribute a total dividend of Rs 2.22 Arba.
The dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the bank.
From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Bank of Kathmandu had distributed a 10 percent bonus share and a 4 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.
After the inclusion of the proposed bonus shares, the paid-up capital will reach Rs. 11.26 Arba.
