Citizen Life Insurance Proposes 20 Percent Dividend from FY 2081/82

Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (CLI) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2081/82.
CLI had proposed a 20 percent dividend. The total dividend will be in the form of cash.
As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, Citizen Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 5 Arba. At this capital, the dividend amounts to Rs. 100 crores.
From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, CLI had distributed a 28.4043 percent dividend, including a 26.98412698 percent bonus share and a 1.4202 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). However, from the fiscal year 2079/80, the company didn’t provide any dividend to the shareholders.
From the fiscal year 2078/79, the life insurance company had distributed a a 5.2632 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share and a 0.2632 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
