Citizen Life Insurance Proposes 28.40 Percent Dividend from FY 2080/81

Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (CLI) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
CLI had proposed a 28.4043 percent dividend, including a 26.98412698 percent bonus share and a 1.4202 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Citizen Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 3.93 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share amounts to Rs. 106.25 crores. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs. 5 Arba.
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, the company didn’t provide any dividend to the shareholders. However, from the fiscal year 2078/79, the life insurance company had distributed a a 5.2632 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share and a 0.2632 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
