City Hotel Closing Issue of 1:0.8 Right Share from Today

City Hotel Limited (CITY) is currently selling the right shares to the shareholders. The company is floating the right shares in the ratio 1:0.8. This means that the shareholders with 100 shares can apply for the additional 80 shares.
The right offering is open from Bhadra 23, 2082 BS and will close on Ashwin 26, 2082 BS.
For this purpose, the company has fixed the book closure date on Shrawan 27, 2082 BS. Therefore, the investors holding/purchasing the shares of CITY until Shrawan 26, 2082 BS will be eligible for subscribing the right shares.
Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) gave the permission to the company on Shrawan 4, 2082 BS. The company had submitted the application to the board on Jestha 11, 2082 BS. Only after receiving the approval from the regulatory body, the company can float the shares to the public.
As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, CITY has a paid up capital of Rs 167.40 crores. Hence, the company has plans to sell right shares worth Rs. 133.92 crores. After the right issue, the paid-up capital will reach Rs. 301.32 crores.
The company has appointed Prabhu Capital as the issue and sales manager. An agreement has been inked between the company and Prabhu Capital on this regard.
City Hotel Limited is promoted by Golyan Group, Kamlesh Agrawal, and Harish Chandra Subedi. It is currently operating Hyatt Place Hotel which started operation from Karthik 15, 2078 BS. It has 153 rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, gym, swimming pool, and a conference hall with a capacity of up to 400 people.
