Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada reappointed as the finance minister

Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada has been reappointed as the finance minister today.

On the recommendation of the Prime Minister and as per Article 78 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed Khatiwada as the finance minister.

Yuva Raj Khatiwada had resigned from the post of finance minister on Tuesday after the termination of his National assembly Membership.

The finance minister will also look after the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The ministry is currently vacant after the resignation of Mr. Gokul Prasad Baskota due to the leakage of the bribery tape recently.

Dr. Khatiwada will take the oath of office and secrecy at Sheetal Niwas today.
