NMB Bank to Arrange Digital Payment in Public Transport

NMB Bank has entered into an agreement with N-Cloud Private Limited to promote digital payment channels in public transport. The bank has entered into an agreement with N-Cloud to arrange contactless payments using the passenger bus fare card operated by Kipu Bus Services Pvt.
As per the agreement, the bank has stated that it will implement digital payment collection system in public transport through contactless cards and POS terminals. The project will start with Kipu Bus Service.
The bank has stated that it intends to start cooperation with other bus operators for parallel bus fare collection system by reaching an understanding with other bus committees soon.
