Over 11,760 Borrowers On The Blacklist By Credit Information Centre

A total of 11,760 borrowers from various banks and financial institutions have been blacklisted. According to an economic survey released by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, the Credit Information Center Limited has blacklisted that number of people.

Similarly, the survey has also made public the assets of various non-bank financial institutions. Accordingly, the assets and liabilities of the Employees’ Provident Fund has reached Rs. 360.78 billion. The accumulated amount of the savers is Rs. 323.75 billion. Similarly, the assets and liabilities of the Citizens Investment Fund has reached Rs. 156.95 billion. It has invested Rs 138.55 billion in various sectors.

Likewise, the Postal Savings Bank has invested Rs 376.40 million out of the total deposit of Rs 1.43 billion. There are 62,517 accounts in this bank. The Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund (DCGF) has secured Rs 48.53 billion in loans and Rs 660.06 billion in deposits of 76 banks and financial institutions till Poush 2076. The fund has secured 25.31 million deposit accounts.
