Prabhu Insurance Announces 5 Percent Dividend from FY 2079/80

Prabhu Insurance Company Limited (PRIN) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2079/80.
The company has proposed a 5 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 4.75 percent bonus share and a 0.25 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, Prabhu Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 137.61 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 6.53 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 34.40 lakhs.
From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, the insurance company had provided a 7.05 percent dividend, that included a 6.70 percent bonus share and a 0.35 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
Likewise, from the fiscal year 2077/78, PRIN had distributed an 11.58 percent dividend, including an 11 percent bonus shares. In the fiscal year 2076/77, the company had provided 10.53 percent dividend to the shareholders, including a 10 percent bonus share. Similarly, in the fiscal year 2075/76, Prabhu Insurance had distributed a 16.32 percent dividend to its shareholders, including a 5 percent bonus shares and 11.32 percent cash dividend.
The dividend is subject to approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming AGM of the company.
