State 1 to prepare Grand Opening for VNY 2020

State no. 1 Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Jagdish Prasad Khusiyat has said that special program will be organized to mark the Visit Nepal Year 2020.
Speaking at the Tourism Promotion Committee meeting on Saturday, he said that all the sub-committees have been working actively to make the inauguration of the VNY 2020 on January 1, 2020 grand and productive. The inaugural event is being held at the Biratnagar stadium.
Some 10,000 people are expected to take part in the inaugural program including an exhibition of cultural pageantry and local products from 14 districts in the state no. 1. A motorcycle rally, welcoming tourists arriving on the day at the airport and transit points and other events have been planned for the day, according to the coordinator of the main celebration management sub-committee Fanindra Adhikari.
Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai is scheduled to inaugurate the Visit Nepal Year 2020 State-level program on January 1, 2020.
