Citizens Mutual Fund-2 to Provide 6.5 Percent Cash Dividend

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) has announced dividend to its unit-holders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
CMF2 has proposed a 6.5 percent cash dividend worth Rs 3.64 crores. The board meeting of Citizens Capital Limited held on Ashwin 13, 2081 BS made the announcement about the dividend.
For the purpose of dividend distribution, the company has fixed the book closure date on Ashwin 23, 2081 BS. Therefore, investors holding/purchasing units of the scheme until Ashwin 22, 2081 BS will receive the 6.5 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81.

In the previous fiscal year 2079/80, CMF2 had distributed an 8 percent cahd dividend. However, in the fiscal year 2078/79, the scheme didn’t provide dividend any dividend to the shareholders.
In the fiscal year 2077/78, CMF2 had provided a 40 percent cash dividend worth Rs 22.40 crores. Similarly, in the fiscal year 2076/77, the mutual fund scheme had distributed a 10 percent cash dividend worth Rs 5.60 crores.
Citizens Mutual Fund-2 is a close-ended scheme with the fund size of Rs 56 crores. The fund has a maturity period of 7 years. It will mature on Ashad 21, 2083. Citizens Capital Limited is the fund manager of the scheme. Likewise, Citizens Bank International is the promoter for the fund.
