Himalayan Bank distributed 137 percent dividend in last 5 years. How much will the bank propose this year?

Himalayan Bank, one of the pioneer commercial banks of Nepal, has yet to announce the dividend from the fiscal year 2075/76. The Bank has earned the net profit of Rs. 2.85 Arba in the fiscal year 2075/76. This is almost 52 percent higher than the previous year’s profit.

Similarly, the bank has accumulated the distributable profit of Rs. 2.02 Arba. At current capital of Rs. 8.52 Arba, the bank has a dividend-paying capacity of 24 percent. We expect the bank to provide 20-22 percent dividend this year. As per our expectation, Himalayan Bank will provide a 10 percent bonus share and 11.05 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.
