How To View IPO Result In Meroshare?

IPO or Initial Public Offering is the process in which a company sells shares to the general public for the first time. Since, the investors can purchase the shares in the face value in the IPO (most common in Nepal), there is huge interest in the IPO of the company.

After you submit the IPO application, the company allots the shares. In order to know whether you have received the shares, you can easily do so in Mero Share. Previously, you had to be aware of the every merchant banker (issue manager) who would allot the IPO shares. You had to visit the website of the concerned issue manager and check the application number. Different IPOs have different issue managers which means you had to search your application number differently in each IPOs. However, Mero Share has removed this problem and created a single platform to view the IPO results.

IPO Result In Mero Share

In order the view the IPO result in Mero Share, follow the step-by-step guidelines below:

Step 1

First of all, you need to visit Mero share login page. In order to do so, click the link: https://meroshare.cdsc.com.np.

The Mero Share Login Page will appear as:

Step 2

To login, go to the drop down menu with “Select Your DP” as shown in the picture below and Select the depository participants (DP) of your account.

Type the last numbers after the zeros of your beneficiary account number to enter the Login ID or user name. For example if your beneficiary account number 13010200000093812 while the last eight digits are 00093812, use the number 93812 as your login ID or use name.

Type the Password and Press the login button.

Step 3

Click on My ASBA menu as highlighted by the green box in the sample image below. A page will appear that contains ‘Current Issue‘, ‘Apply For Issue‘, ‘Application Report‘ and ‘Old Application Report‘. This can be seen in the image below:

Step 4

Click on the Application Report as highlighted by the green box in the sample image below.

After that, Click on the Report on the right side of the company in which you have submitted the application for the IPO. This is shown by the red box in the picture below:

Step 5

After you click on the Report as above, you will see a page which shows all the information about your application in the IPO of the company. Scroll down the page and at the near bottom, you can see if you are alloted  the shares or not and how much shares you are alloted. The IPO allotment result can be seen as in the green box in the image below.

The highlighted blue box in the sample image shows the quantity you have applied. Likewise, the red box shows whether the alloted amount is blocked in you bank account or not.
