Jeff Bezos Becomes First Person To Surpass $200 Billion Networth

Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man has achieved another milestone. Bezos has surpassed the $ 200 billion in networth becoming the first person ever to cross $200 billion mark.
As Amazon stock surged 2.85 percent on Wednesday climbing to its record high price of $3441.85, Jeff’s networth reached $202 billion. This is $78 billion more than Bill Gates, the world’s second-richest person who’s currently worth $124 billion.
Despite the most expensive divorce settlement last year, Bezos is leaping ahead of the other contenders. In July last year, Bezos split from his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott providing her 25 percent stock of the Amazon. This stock is currently worth over $ 63 billion.
Bezos has gained more than $87 billion since the start of the year 2020.
Similarly, Elon Musk has placed himself as a centibillionaire amassing $101 billion. With the surge in Tesla stock price, Musk becomes the fourth person to reach $100 billion in networth.
