RMDC Laghubitta Proposes 27.36 Percent Dividend

RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has announced dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.
The board meeting of the company held on Mangsir 19, 2079 BS has proposed a 27.3684 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 26 percent bonus share and a 1.3684 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The company will distribute the bonus share worth Rs. 32.26 crores. Likewise, the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 1.69 crores.

In the previous year 2077/78, the microfinance had distributed a 25 percent dividend, including a 20 percent bonus share and a 5 percent cash dividend.
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, RMDC Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs. 124.10 crores. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 156.36 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company.
