Among the 20 lowest market capitalized hydropower companies, market caps range from a modest Rs 0.79 billion (DHPL) to Rs 2.67 billion (TPC and UMRH).
The 52-week trading ranges reveal considerable volatility, with many companies experiencing dramatic price swings throughout the year. KBSH demonstrates the most extreme volatility, ranging from Rs 1,715 to Rs 3,300, while BHPL shows the largest absolute range from Rs 651 to Rs 1,308.40. Several companies, including SPHL, BHPL, and JOSHI, have experienced significant pullbacks from their yearly highs, currently trading at substantial discounts to their peak values, mainly due to the issue of the right shares.
