Machhapuchchhre Bank Proposes 14 Percent Dividend From FY 2077/78

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the profit of the fiscal year 2077/78.

The board meeting of the bank held on Ashoj 6, 2078 BS has proposed a 14 percent dividend. This includes a 13.30 percent bonus share and 0.70 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

Machhapuchchhre Bank will distribute the dividend after the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and its upcoming AGM.

From the previous fiscal year 2076/77, the bank had distributed a 10.40 percent dividend. This included a 7.03 percent bonus share and a 3.37 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.

As of Ashad’s end 2078 BS, Machhapuchchhre Bank has the paid-up capital of Rs. 9.05 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 1.20 Arba while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 6.33 crores. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital of the bank will rise to Rs 10.25 Arba
